Ramblers rendezvous

The Grampian 50+ network held it's 21st rendevvous at Mackie Academy on the 4th and 5th of August 2010. A selection of walks and workshops were on offer for participants. A day at the DBG bodging container was one of the options.
Day 1
	Charles, Bob and Margaret have a go at sawing a freshly felled ash limb. "Why does it cut so squint?"
Bob and Bob get going on the shaving horses.
	Careful with that axe Mary.
This is harder than it looks eh Marion?
	Always time for a cup of tea.
Enough sitting around - let's get cracking again.
	Making a rather good job there Charles.

Day 2
	And we are off again... Day 2 sees Lynn getting to grips with a bow saw.
George and Rob show how to cleave a log.
	Kath gets started on the pole lathe.
June trys to master the side axe.
	The group now all working hard on the shaving horses.
The woodland workshop is now in full swing.
	John starts to get the hang of it.
And Kath is determined to get it right.
	Rob and George working away on the lathe they had to assemble on the day.
And Lynn tries out "Pole Lathe 2000".
	June "I canna get this wee knot out!"
Elizabeth is clearly determined to get her piece finished.
